Parkdale street portraits

Here are some results from taking a week off from the cafe to shoot..

Using my trusty metal shopping cart wedged with a sand bag between a bat pack and duct-taped strobe, wrapped with garbage bags for rain protection, I headed out onto the street to shoot within a block of my home.

I would find a spot that I might work, shoot some tests, then wait for an unsuspecting stranger to walk by so I could convince them to pose for me.

it was shot in Parkdale so that's the name of the project for now.

My First Magazine Cover

I'm loosing my mind at how awesome it feels to finally see my first magazine cover -- shot for the next issue of Worn Journal.

If you're a fan of the magazine (who isn't) they're holding the release party for issue 12 - aptly named "Fancy Pants Vintage Dance" - this Saturday at Dovercourt house.
